| Bowie set for shows in town |
| A small
group of David Bowie fans and the media greeted the rock star at Tullamarine
airport yesterday when he arrived for the final leg of his world wide Glass
Spider Tour.
Despite having left his publicist strict "no media" instructions, Bowie obliged autograph hunters and reporters as he dashed to a waiting Mercedes. Had he enjoyed the tour so far? "It's been absolutely wonderful. Really great." How has he found Australian audiences this time round? "Fabulous and lots of them." What can Melbourne fans expect? "The same style as Sydney". Then it was off to prepare for his Melbourne shows. The first will be held at Kooyong tomorrow night. Tickets are still
