Nightclubbing in Brisbane
(November 28, 1978)

Bowie and entourage hit up some local night clubs during a night off on the Low/Heroes Tour.

Peter Maslen (Boom Crash Opera) who was playing in a band at one of these clubs and helps fill in some amazing details for us. 

Bowie and Richard Butler in Sydney
(February 1983)


While filming in Australia, Bowie met with the lead singer of The Psychedelic Furs. This is an exclusive story as told by our man on the scene, Bruce Butler. The photos were taken by his friend.

Marae Visit, New Zealand
(November 23, 1983)


During the 1983 Serious Moonlight Tour, Bowie became the first rock star to be invited to a Maori Marae. In 2009, Bowie Downunder member Sam Coley completed a radio documentary on this visit.
