THE RONSON HANGUP

Taking their name from the legendary Bowie guitarist, The Ronson Hangup, are set to repeat last year's Christmas show by playing a free show at The Workers Club (Fitzroy).

Although mainly a band of original material, we have put in a request for a glamtastic Bowie anthem!

It takes place at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland on Dec 16.

'Bowie's Down Brunswick' Charity Walk

Following Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence, 'Bowie's Down in Brunswick' are gathering as many people as they can dressed as David Bowie at 5.30pm.

Between 5.30 and 7pm, costumed 'Bowies' can stop at a selection of these venues - each offering some kind of Bowie experience.

Participants must pay a minimum gold coin donation with all proceeds donated to Cancer Council.
